Set off on the East Greenland: Scoresby Sund & Blosseville Fjords expedition, a wild and immersive 14-day voyage that carves its course through one of Earth’s most remote and dramatic Arctic coastlines. From Greenland’s jagged eastern edge, you’ll head straight into the heart of what many call the world’s ultimate fjord wilderness.

Your journey begins as you sail into Scoresby Sund, the largest fjord system on the planet. Here, glaciers birth enormous icebergs that drift beneath sheer basalt walls—some rising nearly 2,000 meters on the southern shore—and tundra-clad slopes alive with musk ox, Arctic hares, and seabird colonies. In late summer, the landscape erupts in autumnal hues as fiery tundra colors blend with icy blues and granite gray.

Venturing northward, you’ll navigate past Ittoqqortoormiit, one of Greenland’s most remote Inuit communities, a place where traditional ways endure and stories echo across silence. Keep watch for wildlife aplenty: curious narwhals, foraging whale pods, and perhaps even a lone polar bear padding across the ice.

Next, you’ll steer along the legendary Blosseville Coast, a stretch of seascape so rugged it remained uncharted until the 20th century. Shrouded in drifting fog, with treacherous currents and no safe harbors, this coastline feels like the edge of exploration itself.

This expedition isn’t just a trip, it’s a sensory plunge into untamed Arctic wilderness. Zodiac landings along glacier fronts and silent hiking trails across tundra invite moments of quiet awe. Wildlife encounters—from soaring seabirds to grazing musk ox and whales in silent waters—create a connection to polar life that lingers. Icebergs calve, glaciers sheen under the endless daylight, and the Arctic’s elemental pulse becomes your constant companion.
