Antarctic Circle Expedition

Hurtigruten Cruises
Duration 18 days - 17 nights
Departure Buenos Aires, Argentina
 class= lazyload

Spend ten days exploring Antarctica on this Antarctic Circle Expedition voyage during the peak of its summer means plenty of daylight, penguin chicks, and great whale watching. The season’s milder weather may have created a path through the sea ice, allowing this expedition to make an attempt to sail below the Antarctic Circle and to try to reach usually secluded yet magnificent Marguerite Bay. Should you arrive at the famous coordinates of 66°33’S you’ll join the small band of explorers that can claim they have made it this far south.

This itinerary is run by Hurtigruten Cruises who operate premium expeditions to Antarctica and many other regions of the world. On each of the purpose-built ships in their fleet, you will find modern facilities and equipment designed specifically to sail in remote waters. No matter which of their three ships you sail on – the MS FramMS Fridtjof Nansen, or the MS Roald Amundsen – expect fantastic service and wonderful expedition team.
